My name is Brouke, Ms. Rose if you're nasty (only the cool ones will get it). I am the creator of The Renegade Rose. I am a self-admitted contradiction. Raised by a Hippie Dad and Country Mom, my sister and I didn't stand a chance at being normal. but let me make this real clear, I LOVE being weird. I love that it was instilled in me to want peace and love, but the willingness the throw hands when the time calls for it. I'm from a long line of hardheaded, stubborn, strong-willed women, whom I adore with all my heart and a herd of Cowboys who never let us be weak or lessen our value. My Mom gave me my fire and the drive to "do what I want." She is my leading example in the "you can do anything" department. In a house full of women (and my hippie dad) there wasn't any that's a "man's job" moments. Momma Rose made sure we could do anything and the mantra "Can't a coward or too lazy to try" rang through the walls if the word "can't" was ever spoken. Why the back story? Because those are my roots and they never change and they have made me who I have become for better or worse. My husband can attest to the better or worse bit better than anyone. We have been together for over 20 years and weathered more storms than we could count, but in the end, he is my anchor and I am his wings. We have two of the most amazing sons that anyone could ask for and I am blessed that being their Mom has been my job for the last 17 years. They're my everything. But I have always been a creator. Not in the digital world, nope this is all new to me, but in the tactile world. I build, create, paint, sculpt, decorate, make anything and everything that pops in my mind, that's where that "you can do anything" and "I do what I want" plays a vital role. Which meant I needed a space that I could play with my ideas, make my creations and maybe make some cash while I was at it. So, here we are The Renegade Rose. A place that my ideas can come to play, and maybe in the process I can encourage other strong-willed weirdos to be loud and proud. Let's party on ladies and DO WHAT WE WANT!
